Moreton Bay Escapes is owned and operated by Tom Skorzewski and John Aagten. Moreton Bay Escapes run tours to highlight, the beautiful Moreton Bay Marine Park and Moreton Island National Park. Our tours are designed for Nature lovers and outdoor people. Small groups allow for lots of group discussion and meeting like minded travelers from all over the world. Our tour guides are expertly trained from a varied background. All guides have significant guiding experience or have studied ecotourism related courses. All guides have senior first aid qualifications including oxygen treatment, snorkel guiding and rigorous in house 4WD training.

Our Island Guides

Jonny

Jonny: Jonny has been described by TNT Travel Magazine as a mellow version of Steve Irwin (Crocodile Hunter), he is a real nature buff. Jonny has been travelling around the Australian bush for the last 30 years being a guide in NT, Kimberly's and Central Australia. Jonny hitchhiked/backpacked Australia in the 70's, has lived with the indigenous and is a real ocher bloke. He is also a Scuba diving instructor, First Aid instructor.

Haydn: Lives in Southeast Queensland, he has fished, surfed and camped most places between Byron Bay and Hervey Bay.

Renaye: Renaye is the boss of everything. With out her there would not be any tours. She makes sure that all our guides know what day it is and where they have to be. She is also that friendly voice at the end of the telephone when you make reservations, or replies to your e-mails.
